Originally from the UK, with images of far-off places having captured my mind at a young age, for as long as I can remember I have always wanted to travel and live overseas. A media career starting in TV and progressing to publishing and digital media led me on the path to freelance journalism where I am happy to write for a range of publishers from my now home base in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Having lived in the UAE since 2006, my love of writing also spills over into my free time where I write ArabianNotes.com, an expat lifestyle and travel based blog.
